Born in the midwest, this weird charmer has impressed friends and family with her artistic skill. As a child she was curious about art. As a young adult she studied the skills of friends during art nights, watched YouTube videos, and learned from her own creative mistakes. Animals and flowers have been go-to subjects, but weird art has always captured her attention. In her words, “I remember being in a mom-and-pop video store when I was little; I think around 6 years old. My mom left me to it to pick out the movie I would watch that afternoon. My little eyes scanning the covers of the VHS tapes in the newly released kids section, when I spotted the most curious movie. I’m not even sure I could read the cover, It just had a bright yellow moon and a pencil-thin skeleton standing on a hill with a tip that curled under several times. My mom asked if it was a kids movie and reluctantly rented it for me anyway. After popping it in the VCR and settling in, my mind was totally blown by this dark and sweet universe created by Tim Burton. That experience stayed with me for the rest of my life and to this day I’m a sucker for Tim Burton’s movies and art.”
