Dungeon Crawler Carl
I'm currently reading Carl's Doomsday Scenario, the second book in the series. Unpopular opinion: the writing style isn't my favorite. There have been some loose ends left hanging, and I can't quite connect with Carl as a character. However, my interest in RPG and other fantasy games is keeping me sucked in. Something about it has grown on me and it's become a love-hate relationship. I just saw they are releasing a TV show made from the series so I'm trying to get through a few books before it comes out to see how the show will compare. I've read a little about Matt Dinniman because I almost thought the book was written by AI. I was also driven to do some research as I have been reading on a Kindle and I am not a huge fan of the comic book style covers. I really adore the printed versions and wish I could switch them out. In reading about him I discovered that he allows fans to make content without licensing so that's kind of cool. Anyway, I really like the series and look forward to seeing what their next battle will be!
